Holding Healthy Anger - Humankind

  • House of Play Shetlandsgade 3 2300 Copenhagen Denmark (map)

Third workshop in my new Humankind series, for all humans to come and explore many of the very subjects that make us human.

Anger is a natural human emotion, yet many of us have learned to fear it, suppress it, or express it in ways that leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and others. In this workshop, we'll create a welcoming space to explore our relationship with anger through curiosity, compassion, and care. Together we'll discover that anger and aggression are not the same, and that when we learn to meet anger with awareness, it can become an opportunity for greater understanding rather than something to avoid or fear.

Through movement, breathwork, mindful exploration, and a touch of humour, we'll explore how anger shows up in our bodies, our thoughts, and our relationships. We'll become curious about what anger may be asking of us, how it can point towards our boundaries, values, and unmet needs, and how we might respond with greater clarity rather than react from habit. Throughout the workshop, there will be space to explore at your own pace, honouring your own experience without expectation or judgment.

Rather than trying to fix, suppress, or release anger, we'll approach it as a natural part of being human—one that can be understood, held, and expressed with greater awareness. Together we'll practice relating to this powerful emotion in ways that support honest communication, personal responsibility, and deeper connection with ourselves and those around us.

Come as you are. Leave with practices to continue exploring your relationship with anger, greater awareness of the choices available to you, and an open invitation to discover what healthy anger means for you.
