This event is part of the second Manhood series, in which we explore the many layers of the male-socialised experience as it is shaped through upbringing, biology, and cultural expectation. Grief changes the landscape of our lives.
When grief enters our lives, the world keeps turning, even as our own world may feel as though it has come to a standstill. In time, we slowly begin to find our footing in a landscape forever changed—not by leaving love behind, but by allowing it to take a different shape.
Whether returning or joining for the first time, grief often has many layers and many parts of our hearts and souls can grieve. This workshop is an invitation to deepen your relationship with grief. Not as something to overcome or rush through, but as a natural expression of love and the many ways our lives are touched by change, loss, and longing.
Through embodied practice, reflective inquiry, and genuine connection, we open space for grief to be met with compassion rather than resistance. We'll discover how grief shapes our hearts, our relationships, and our experience of the world—and what becomes possible when we stop asking when grief will end and begin listening to what it asks of us.
Growing with grief isn't about forgetting or moving on. It's about discovering new ways to carry love with us as life continues to unfold. As we gently make room for both sorrow and joy, we may begin to recognise that grief is not asking us to let go of love, but to discover a new way of carrying it.
Come exactly as you are. Leave with a gentler relationship to your grief, and discover what becomes possible when love is given the freedom to take a new shape.
